By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
I John 3:16,18
By Mr. Matt Pannkuk-Chaplain, Bible Teacher
Today we had our fifth meeting of our Crew groups. One of our goals this year was to have small group more often so that authentic community could flourish. As some of us walked the halls to peak in at the Crew meetings, I think that is definitely happening!
After playing a guessing game about who did what over break, the Crew leader then led them in a brief reminder of our year’s theme and verse. The students then created New Year’s resolutions for how to live this out, and wrote or drew them so we can revisit them later.
Take a look at what our wonderful students were able to come up with!
1) Why do we have Crew?
2) Why do we call it Crew?
3) Do you know the names of all your Crew?
4) What was something that someone else in your Crew did over break, or a place they went to?
5) What is our theme for the year? What about our theme verse?
6) What is your New Year’s resolution to help you Go! Live the Story!
May the joy of the LORD be our strength.
