Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD…saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’
Zechariah 8:22, 23b

Let this humbling and uplifting thought abide in your heart this Christmas. “God is with you.”
People are looking for God all over the world. Yet as the apostle Paul says in Acts 17, he is not far from us. In fact, He is with us. To the Christian, God is near indeed, closer than any other relationship possible.
If there is one great truth of the advent season, it is that God is with us. This spectacular truth should impact every aspect of our lives.
Is God with you today? If you are not yet a Christian, the then the answer is no. So seek the LORD, entreat his favor, and find someone to walk with who has God with them.
Is God with you today? If you are a Christian, then the answer is yes! So don’t forget it. Don’t live as if he was distant, unapproachable, cold, unavailable. Live as one who has him near!
Do the peoples see that God is with you? When they look at us Christians, do they say “let us come with you, for we have seen that God is with you”? When they look at Twin Oaks, do people say, “let us send our kids there, for we have seen that God is with you”?
One way we can show people that God is with us is through our dedication to prayer. We ask that starting tomorrow each family would pray for our next Head of School and for the search process. Let us show everyone that God is with us through our prayerful trust in the LORD. Head of School Search Prayer Sign Up
