Are you smarter than a fifth grader?
Find out on March 3 at the eighth annual Twin Oaks Christian School Trivia Night and Auction. Appropriately titled “Back to School,” come dressed in your favorite grade school or high school attire and answer questions related to the theme.
“The primary focus of this event is to build relationships and nurture the sense of community within our school,” said TOCS Partners In Education President Casey Stoff. “Trivia Night is a long-standing tradition at TOCS. The night is casual, fun and a great opportunity to make new friends!”
Between the rounds of trivia, a live auction will be conducted during which school families can bid on various teacher experiences. “Our teachers have graciously donated their time and money to provide a fun experience for your child,” said Stoff. “Come bid on the many activities they have to offer! Cash, check and credit will be accepted.”
Attendees can bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages or purchase snacks from the eighth grade concession stand. Money raised from concessions will help fund the eighth grade class trip to Washington, D.C., this spring.
Beyond the expenses of the night, money raised from the auction will assist the school in building a new office for the future Head of School.
“Please support our school by attending this fun evening,” said TOCS Dean of Administration Sherry Blough.
The fee is $20 per person or $140 for a table of eight. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and will end at 9:00 p.m. Childcare is not available this year so start booking those sitters!
